And we’re off! We locked the door to our Baltimore, MD rowhome (which is now up for sale!!) and headed out on our road trip toward our friends in Charleston, SC. We enjoyed a low-key weekend with Tom, Karen, and Mr. Crosby (their adorable puppy dog). Friday evening we watched a beautiful sunset. We also spent some time at the beach over the weekend playing bocce ball at the Isle of Palms Beach. Each morning we relaxed, chatted, and enjoyed coffee together. It was delightful!

During the week while Tom and Karen worked (with some business travel thrown in) we adventured around Charleston during the day (posts on those soon!). We still found some time to complete puzzles, run across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, and cook. Highlights included pecan pie, coconut cake, and Thai peanut noodle salad (one of our favorites)!
