From Colorado, we hopped on a plane (the first in a while) and flew to NYC! We enjoyed lounging in the swanky Capital One lounge in Denver’s Airport and then landed to a beautiful sunset in New York. We had a day in the city (just in case) and enjoyed walking, food, the Charging Bull, and stumbled across The Skyscraper Museum. It was amazing! We very much enjoyed the detail in architecture, history of height (the invention of elevators were pivotal!), and the exhibit on the World Trade Center.

The next day, we headed to the cruise port and boarded Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 for our first Atlantic crossing by boat from NYC to Southampton, England. It was a wonderful trip filled with champagne, dessert, food, walks on the deck, running in the gym, video games in the salon, and most of all our first time on a ship without any land in sight. It was amazing and we had the best time!
