Diving Grand Cayman (#35)

We decided to take ten days in the Caribbean to go scuba diving after our visit to the USA and before heading to Guatemala to learn Spanish. Grand Cayman was a nice visit as we’d been there before, but it had been a very long time. Our lovely apartment in Grand Harbor allowed us to cook and relax with the convenience of both a grocery store and restaurants in the nearby shopping complex.

We did enjoy cooking in our kitchen (chocolate cake and pizza) and here’s a little taste of our time there! Each day, we went on a shore dive, enjoyed walking and running, and basically unplugged. There are only a few photos on land because while on diving vacations many of the coolest things are underwater! Imagine beautiful reefs, fish, sea anemones, and every once and a while a turtle or octopus! In addition, if you don’t know, it’s also high art, a large investment, and a lot of space to take underwater photography successfully. I enjoyed this article and the underwater photos of Grand Cayman very much to give you a taste of what we saw. Glorious!

Thanks for joining us on a mini post before diving in (see what I did there?!?) to learning Spanish in Guatemala!
